A carpentry workshop that grew into an interiors company
We still make every kitchen, wardrobe and piece of furniture ourselves, in our own workshop in Nachinola, Goa.
Our story
Mandal Industry began as Mandal Carpenters, a woodwork shop run by Jatindra Mandal, building doors, staircases and furniture for homes around Goa.
As clients started asking for complete kitchens, wardrobes and then whole homes, the workshop grew with them. Today we plan, design, manufacture and install complete interiors for homes, villas, offices and cafés.
What hasn’t changed is how we work. The same people who measure your space are the ones who build it and fit it, and every piece still comes out of our own workshop rather than a catalogue.

Why making it ourselves matters
Most interior companies outsource production. Having our own workshop changes four things for you.
- Quality you can check
- We choose the boards, cut them, edge-band them and assemble them. Nothing arrives flat-packed from a third party, and you’re welcome to visit the workshop while your order is being made.
- Timelines we control
- Because production is in-house, we plan it around your site. We don’t wait in another factory’s queue, and changes can be made before a piece is finished.
- Built for Goa’s climate
- Monsoon humidity is hard on woodwork. We use water-resistant boards where they matter, seal every edge and treat wood against termites as standard.
- Someone to call later
- If a hinge needs adjusting or a shutter needs attention a year on, you call the same team that built it, not a helpline.
